A Message from Doc
In 1969, at 15 years old, Doc had his first alcoholic drink to cope with the death of his aunt. Years of self-abuse followed. After his mother died in 1991, Doc searched for life's purpose through many means of achievements and religions. Instead of finding freedom, his relationship with drugs and alcohol and the lifestyle associated with those intensified.
As did his emotional anxiety.
He couldn't get enough of what he didn't want.
Then in 2010, lost and broken, Doc encountered The Lord in his garage. Jesus became real that day, and Doc came up and out of that experience a new creation; 2 Corinthians 5:17. Freed from his addictive desires because of his freedom in Christ, he now serves the Lord in many capacities; three overseas mission trips, a BA in Christian Counseling, Celebrate Recovery leader, a local jail ministry, and Kairos prison ministry. He is ordained, and his current focus is on Biblical Spiritual Life coaching through FREE INDEED, a new 10-lesson program that explains spiritual warfare, its effect on life, and how anyone can be FREE INDEED in Christ.
He is the author of four books:

God has given us every resource to live a life of purpose. However, life itself seems to get in the way. Personal and monetary achievements don't satisfy in the long run.

Become the destiny God has planned for you by living a life of spiritual satisfaction. When we empty our emotional baggage, we learn to fill that void with the love and power of Christ. Then learn through Him that we no longer need to sabotage ourselves and others but live an abundantly FREE INDEED life.

A Parable
One evening, a grandfather told his grandson about the conflict that rages inside of each person.
He said, "My son, there is a battle inside everyone between two spirits that want to consume your soul. One spirit is evil. It thrives on fear, pride, and hate. It is full of lies, greed, and immorality.
The other spirit is good. It flourishes in love, joy, peace, and humility."
The grandson thought a moment and then asked, "Grandfather, which one wins?"
The grandfather replied, "The one you feed."
Make no mistake; there is a battle for our souls. This spiritual war demonstrates the richness of our souls. Each side yearns for its possession. Our minds and thoughts are where the war occurs and the battle begins. Every desire, every choice, every day, we are at the crossroad of sin (Satan's food) and righteousness (God's food).
Paul says in Ephesians 6:12, "For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens." And in Romans 12:2, he writes, "Do not be conformed to this age but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing and perfect will of God."
Learn about spiritual warfare and your role in it. Know this, the victory is already yours if you are a Believer.
